Set Up Your Profile¶

When you first sign in, dani.go walks you through a quick onboarding wizard to personalize your experience.

Onboarding Steps¶

Step 1: Welcome¶

A brief introduction to dani.go's key features. Tap Next to continue.

Step 2: Profile Setup¶

Avatar — Upload a photo or choose from preset avatars
First Name and Last Name — How you'll appear to trip companions

Step 3: Home Location¶

Set your home base so dani.go can:

Suggest departures from your nearest airports
Exclude your home city from destination lists
Provide relevant time zone information

You'll select:

Country — Choose from the full country list
State/Region — Shown for countries with states (e.g., US, Canada, Australia)
City — Your home city

Why home location matters

When you create a trip with a flight from your home city to Tokyo, dani.go knows to show "Tokyo" as the destination — not both cities. Your home city is automatically excluded from trip destination displays.

Step 4: Preferences¶

Currency — Select your preferred display currency (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, and 20+ more). This affects how prices are shown throughout the app.
Price Level — Choose your typical travel budget:
- Budget — Affordable options prioritized
- Moderate — Mid-range selections
- Expensive — Premium and luxury options
AI Model — Select the AI model for your travel assistant

These preferences influence search results and AI recommendations but can be changed anytime in Settings.

After Onboarding¶

Once you complete the wizard, you'll land on the Home Screen where you can create your first trip. Head over to Plan Your First Trip to get started!
