Map View

The Map view gives you a bird's-eye view of your entire trip, showing all your stops as markers connected by route lines on an interactive map.

Desktop feature

The Map view is available on desktop and laptop screens (13 inches and above). On phones and tablets, the map is hidden to maximize screen space for the timeline and chat.

Map Overview

When you switch to the Map view (or view it alongside the timeline on wide screens), you'll see:

  • Color-coded markers for every event on your timeline
  • Route lines connecting your stops in order
  • Direction arrows showing the travel direction between locations
  • Numbered markers indicating the chronological order of your stops

Marker Colors

Markers are color-coded by event type so you can quickly identify what's what:

Color Event Type
Blue Flights / Airports
Purple Trains / Subways / Buses
Teal Ferries / Cruises
Orange Hotels / Accommodations
Red Restaurants / Dining
Green Activities / Attractions
Pink Live Events
Gray Car Rentals

Interacting with the Map

Tap a Marker

Tap any marker to see a popup with the event's key details — name, type, date, and time. Tap the popup to focus on that event in the timeline.

Day Filter

Use the day filter to show only events for a specific day of your trip. This declutters the map when you have a complex itinerary spanning many days and locations.

Auto-Fit

The map automatically adjusts its zoom and position to show all your stops when you first open it. As you add or remove events, the map re-fits to include everything.

Marker Clustering

When multiple events are close together (e.g., several restaurants in the same neighborhood), the map groups them into a cluster marker showing the count. Zoom in to see individual markers.

Accommodation Stays

Hotels and accommodations show date spans on their markers, indicating your check-in and check-out dates. This helps you see at a glance how long you're staying at each location.

Route Visualization

Transportation events (flights, trains, ferries, etc.) create route lines between their origin and destination markers, showing:

  • The path of travel
  • Direction arrows
  • Connection to the next stop in your itinerary

This creates a visual story of your journey from start to finish.
