What is dani.go?

dani.go is an AI-powered trip planning app that helps you create, organize, and remember your travels. Chat with an AI assistant to search for flights, hotels, restaurants, and activities, then build a complete itinerary — all in one place.

Which platforms is dani.go available on?

dani.go is available on:

  • iOS — iPhone and iPad

Your trips sync automatically across all devices.

Is dani.go free?

Yes! dani.go's core features are completely free, including:

  • Unlimited trip creation
  • AI-powered trip planning
  • All search functions (flights, hotels, restaurants, attractions, etc.)
  • Stash and bookmarks
  • Trip journal
  • Map view
  • Multi-device sync

Premium features (trip sharing, group chat, voting) require a subscription starting at $1.99/month.


AI Assistant

How does the AI know about my trip?

The AI has full awareness of your trip context — dates, destinations, existing timeline events, and your preferences (currency, budget level). It uses this context to provide relevant suggestions without you having to repeat information.

Can the AI make mistakes?

The AI is highly capable but not perfect. It may occasionally misunderstand requests or suggest places that don't match your exact criteria. You always have the chance to review and confirm before anything is added to your trip.

The AI can both search for real-time flight options (with live pricing from 300+ airlines) and help you add flights to your itinerary. Actual ticket booking is handled through the integrated Duffel API.

What languages does the AI understand?

The AI communicates primarily in English. Place names in non-Latin scripts (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, etc.) are automatically translated and displayed with both the English name and the original script.


Trip Planning

How many trips can I create?

Unlimited! There is no limit on the number of trips you can create, even on the free plan.

Can I edit events after adding them?

Yes. Tap any event on your timeline to view its details, then use the edit option to change dates, times, or other information.

Can I reorder events on the timeline?

Events are sorted automatically by date and time. To change the order, edit the event's date or time.

What happens if I delete an event?

The event is removed from your timeline. If the event was also in your Stash, the stashed item moves back to the "Unused" section so you can re-add it later if you change your mind.

Can I export my itinerary?

Yes, you can export your trip as a PDF document for printing or offline reference.


Stash

What is the Stash?

The Stash is your bookmark collection — a place to save interesting hotels, restaurants, attractions, and transportation options while you're browsing. Think of it as a "maybe" list for your trip.

Do stashed items disappear after I add them to my trip?

No. Stashed items are kept even after adding them to your timeline. They move to the "In Trip" view in your Stash. If you remove the event from your timeline, the stashed item moves back to "Unused."

Can my trip companions see my Stash?

Yes, in shared trips, the Stash is visible to all trip members.


Sharing & Collaboration

How do I share a trip?

Tap the Share button on your trip, copy the generated link, and send it to your companions. They can join from any device.

Do my companions need to pay?

No! Only the trip owner needs a Premium subscription. Companions join and participate for free.

Can companions edit the trip?

Yes, companions with the "Companion" role can add, edit, and remove events. Members with the "Viewer" role have read-only access.

Is everything synced in real time?

Yes. All changes — events added, chat messages, stash updates — sync instantly across all members and devices. No refresh needed.


Account & Settings

How do I change my currency?

Go to Preferences and select your preferred currency from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately across the entire app.

How do I switch to dark mode?

Go to PreferencesAppearance and select Dark. Or choose System to automatically match your device's theme.

Can I change my home location?

Yes. Go to ProfileHome Location and update your country, state, and city.

How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is available in the settings menu. This permanently removes your profile, all trips, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.


Troubleshooting

The app shows the login screen even though I'm logged in

Try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the issue persists, try logging out and logging back in. Your trips are safely stored in the cloud and will reappear after signing in.

Search results aren't loading

Check your internet connection. dani.go requires an active internet connection to search databases and communicate with the AI. If you're connected but still having issues, try refreshing the page (web) or restarting the app.

Photos aren't showing on timeline cards

Photos are loaded from external sources and may take a moment to appear, especially on slow connections. If photos consistently don't load, check your internet connection.

The map isn't showing

The Map view is only available on desktop and laptop screens (13 inches and above). On phones and tablets, the map is hidden to maximize screen space.
